Murton House Holiday Cottage provides all the modern home comforts you'd expect from quality holiday accommodation with under floor heating, a fully fitted kitchen and sitting room with flat screen TV with built in DVD player and iPOD docking station. Two bedrooms and a modern bathroom make up the rest of the accommodation.

There is also a wonderful wood burning stove in the main living area for those cooler evenings - let us know in advance and we'll make sure the fire has been lit for your return from walking. The stylish decor and furnishing provide a comfortable and homely atmosphere, yet the cottage retains its rustic character with exposed oak beams and huge barn door window, making the cottage light & airy, with a feeling of space.

Murton House has two bedrooms - the main double room is upstairs on the mezzanine floor, which looks out over the living area. The second bedroom (downstairs) has a bunk bed, with the bottom bunk being pulled out to make a double bed, if required. The modern bathroom downstairs has a bath with shower overhead, again with under floor heating, sink and wc.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including a combined microwave, cooker and grill, a hob, fridge (with freezer compartment) and all the crockery and cutlery you will ever need. We keep free range chickens at Murton House so fresh eggs are available too.

There is a south facing stone flagged patio area in front of the cottage, with patio furniture, which gets the sun for most of the day - the perfect place to relax with a chilled glass of wine or beer after a hard day's exploring.

We have on-site parking for one car and also secure storage for bicycles.
